We’ve turned one of our early shirt styles–and a continuous top seller–the Antecedent into a gorgeous maxi dress. As such, she gives us Grecian, Madame Gres vibes without the fuss. Constructed simply and elegantly of a shoulder yoke with gathers from wrist to wrist both front and back, The Antecedent offers graceful fullness and roominess for days. Side seam pockets.

Fit:

This style runs large. We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.

Care:

Machine wash cold. Gentle cycle or hand wash. Line dry. A garment's greatest environmental impact comes from its care after being purchased. Minimize washing unless necessary in order to save water and preserve the integrity of your shirt. No dry cleaning required.
