Palm bristle
When the Takashi scrubber was first introduced into Japanese households 100 years ago it was an instant hit. No more greasy residue soaking into a sponge you would go on to use for weeks (or let's face it, months) at a time until it became too gross to even conceive of handling. The brush, produced from palm bark bristles, fits snuggly in your hand, does not absorb bacteria, and is sturdy enough to last a lifetime. It's also versatile and can be used on dishes, vegetables, metal, and countertops, however, may want to keep it away from fine crystal.
